Bangladesh Research Society (BDRS)

Research Through Collective Approach

The Bangladesh Research Society (BDRS) traces its roots to 2016, with the founding of the Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) — the first university student-led research organization in the country. This pioneering initiative sparked the vision for a nationwide platform dedicated to promoting research culture across educational institutions. With the mission to establish and connect research societies in every university, college, and school in Bangladesh, BDRS was formally launched in 2018 to motivate students in research activities. This is an interdisciplinary, youth and students’ friendly open knowledge sharing community in Bangladesh, which is mostly focused on flourishing, promoting and creating an environment for undergraduate research opportunities.
